My family joined the Adams community in 2015. My son is now in 4th grade. My daughter is in middle school. It has gone by incredibly fast!

Outside Adams
When I am not volunteering at Adams, I work as a preschool teacher and am a part-time graduate student at NC State. I also enjoy being a girl scout leader. I love watching children grow and supporting other parents.

What are Your 2021/22 Goals for PTA ?
My goals for PTA this year are to increase family involvement, build community, and offer opportunities for parent/caregiver education.

This is my family’s fifth year at Adams. My daughter is in the 5th grade and a second daughter graduated Adams two years ago. I speak Spanish and can be found answering Spanish speakers questions at PTA events.

Outside Adams
My regular job is as an environmental scientist. The rest of my time is spent shuttling my kids around!

What are Your 2021/22 Goals for PTA?
My PTA goal this year is to find a replacement for myself to carry on as the Spanish translator next year. As a group we hope to organize all of the PTA knowledge and history that resides in the notes and heads of former PTA board members and make that accessible.

This is my family’s third year at Adams. My son is in 2nd grade.

Outside Adams
Most of my time is spent managing a marketing team. In my off hours, I love anything to do with baseball, spending time with my family, and traveling.

What are Your 2021/22 Goals for PTA?
My PTA goal this year is to help build a knowledge bank that will help guide future PTA board members. As well as making sure all bills are paid on time!
